Description

Jacki (Gina Gershon), sexy punk rocker and Clamdandy's lead singer, is at a crossroads. With her birthday fast approaching, she must decide whether to keep a promise she made to herself to quit the music business at 40 if she hadn't made it by then. The decision gets complicated when she's given the opportunity to open for a legendary punk band and old secrets, false hopes, and personal tragedies threaten to break up Clamdandy's all-girl band.

Director Alex Steyermark has crafted an instant classic with this no-holds-barred exploration of life in the Hollywood music scene. Raw, insightful portrayals of band members by Drea De Matteo, Lori Petty, and Shelly Cole resonate, but it is Gershon who belts out the songs and delivers the authenticity.
