Description

La Bodo del Accordeonista is a riparian fable sung by a jumpy balladeer, a musical romance often Caribbean coast. The filmmaker sets his exuberant lens on a brightly detailed here-and-now, but its focal length i. set at supernatural distance.

Adel, a young troubadour of modest looks and behavior, wanders from town to fishing town with his accordion and catchy songs; women fall in love with him and the lien become enraged. He meets Blanca, who agrees to marry him on one condition. Before he can keep his promise, he is seduced. Who is this intoxicating woman? What is her mystery? Perhaps she is La Mohana, the submarine siren.
