Strange things are afoot at Cinema Café. Each morning at 11:30 am in the Filmmaker Lodge, Cinema Café invigorates the culture of conversation. Our daily series of informal chats rounds up special guests for thought-provoking discussions.

Sometimes the most fascinating are the ones you didn't expect. Cinema Café guests have included Louis CK, Spike Lee, Roger Corman, Julie Delpy, Nick Hornby, David Gordon Green, Dave Grohl, Walter Murch, Barbara Kopple, James Marsh, Gaspar Noé, Steve Coogan, Samantha Power, Parker Posey, Ice-T, and many more. So bring your questions and an open mind.

Cinema Café is live streamed every day of the Festival from the Filmmaker Lodge. We are proud to present three Cinema Café discussions in collaboration with TimesTalks, streaming engaging discussions with Festival filmmakers and New York Times journalists.

As you use our Online Archives, please understand that the information presented from Festivals, Labs, and other activities is taken directly from official publications from each year. While this information is limited and doesn't necessarily represent the full list of participants (e.g. actors and crew), it is the list given to us by the main film/play/project contact at the time, based on the space restrictions of our publications. Each entry in the Online Archives is meant as a historical record of a particular film, play, or project at the time of its involvement with Sundance Institute. For this reason, we can only amend an entry if a name is misspelled, or if the entry does not correctly reflect the original publication.
