1997 Sundance Film Festival in Tokyo

The Festival, established to support cultural exchange between American and Japanese filmmakers, to share American independent films with Japan's audiences, and to help such films access sales and distribution opportunities within the Japanese marketplace.
o Sundance delegation in Tokyo consisted of Ken Brecher (Sundance Institute), Geoffrey Gilmore (Sundance Institute), Victor Nunez (director, Ulee’s Gold), Peter Fonda (actor, Ulee’s Gold), Tina DeFeliciantonio (director, Girls Like Us), Jane Wagner (director, Girls Like Us), Theodore Witcher (director, Love Jones), Vondie Curtis Hall (director, GRIDLOCK’d) and Ira Deutchman (producer, Redeemable Feature).
