Description

In 1989, as a hurricane looms, Violet, the daughter of Cuban immigrants, struggles with her sexuality as her uncle, a famous shoe designer, rapidly deteriorates from the AIDS virus. Before his death, he leaves Violet a grim message about the world that will change her destiny.
