Description

This marks the U.S. premiere of the newest endeavor from the Aardman animation gang. For those who don’t know, they have garnered two Academy awards out of four nominations. Their newest film, Close Shave, features the characters from The Wrong Trousers, which won an Oscar in 1993. Wallace’s and Gromit’s business is booming, and love is in the air as Wallace falls for the owner of the local wool shop, the lovely Wendolene Ramsbottom. But Wallace has a new invention, a knit-o-matic machine, and adventure looms: Sheep are being rustled, wool is in short supply, and Wendolene’s malevolent pooch is on the prowl.

While this information is limited and doesn't necessarily represent the full list of participants (e.g. actors and crew), it is the list given to us by the main film/play/project contact at the time, based on the space restrictions of our publications. Each entry in the Online Archives is meant as a historical record of a particular film, play, or project at the time of its involvement with Sundance Institute. For this reason, we can only amend an entry if a name is misspelled, or if the entry does not correctly reflect the original publication.
