Description

A defiant mute girl and a boy, haunted by guilt after his brother’s death, struggle with loss, violence, and redemption in a North Carolina tobacco town in 1963. After digging a strangely-marked bullet out of a wolf pup, they set out together on a treacherous path to find the shooter and discover themselves, and each other, along the way.
