The Disrupting Hollywood Panel

Wednesday, January 24, 4:30–6:00 p.m.

Filmmaker Lodge, 550 Main St., second floor

This panel will feature Hollywood artists, activists, and strategists discussing the role of inclusive storytelling and the movement for structural change in Hollywood. The panel will explore the ways in which people in Hollywood are successfully shifting the paradigm in Hollywood to make it more reflective of contemporary society and examine what more needs to be done to continue and accelerate the shift. Audience members will also learn more about the ways that the Hollywood Culture Project at Color Of Change is leading advocacy through it’s research and consulting initiatives with Hollywood insiders, from both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. As you use our Online Archives, please understand that the information presented from Festivals, Labs, and other activities is taken directly from official publications from each year. While this information is limited and doesn't necessarily represent the full list of participants (e.g. actors and crew), it is the list given to us by the main film/play/project contact at the time, based on the space restrictions of our publications. Each entry in the Online Archives is meant as a historical record of a particular film, play, or project at the time of its involvement with Sundance Institute. For this reason, we can only amend an entry if a name is misspelled, or if the entry does not correctly reflect the original publication.
