Amid all the past year’s industry chatter about transmedia, a handful of artists quietly went about the business of creating stories with multiple touch points. Their decentralized narratives emerge from live events, websites, installations, and games —prompting obvious questions about the way to start such a story and sustain it. Moderated by Wendy Levy, creative director of the Bay Area Video Coalition. Panelists include Lance Weiler, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Chris Milk, and Nick Tandavanitj (of Blast Theory).
