BMI invites you to an intimate evening featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee…Donovan. This legendary folk/rock/pop troubadour’s classic masterpieces include Mellow Yellow, Sunshine Superman, The Hurdy Gurdy Man, "Season of the Witch," "There Is a Mountain," Wear Your Love Like Heaven, and "Jennifer Juniper." Donovan was one of the few artists to collaborate on songs with The Beatles, contributing lyrics and vocals to the song "Yellow Submarine." Donovan was also invited by The Beatles to join them at Abbey Road Studios for the final orchestral overdub session for the Lennon-McCartney collaboration "A Day in the Life," the grand finale of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Please join us for a great night of music, mingling, and spirits. Cocktails and appetizers will be served . . . so please arrive early and stay to enjoy the performance.

As you use our Online Archives, please understand that the information presented from Festivals, Labs, and other activities is taken directly from official publications from each year. While this information is limited and doesn't necessarily represent the full list of participants (e.g. actors and crew), it is the list given to us by the main film/play/project contact at the time, based on the space restrictions of our publications. Each entry in the Online Archives is meant as a historical record of a particular film, play, or project at the time of its involvement with Sundance Institute. For this reason, we can only amend an entry if a name is misspelled, or if the entry does not correctly reflect the original publication.
