FILM MUSIC REMIX
Monday, January 23, 2012
8pm
751 Main St.
A limited number of free tickets will be available to Festival Credential Holders (21 and up) via Twitter @sundancefestnow
Join the Sundance Composers Lab at the Music Café for an innovative presentation of "film music remixes" and original music co-curated by Ronit Kirchman (2011-12 Sundance Institute/Time Warner Fellow) and Sundance's Corey Brill, featuring acoustic and electronic sets by Kirchman and Lab Alums: Kathryn Bostic, Terry Dame, Lili Haydn, Vivek Maddala and David Poe.
Ronit's set is accompanied by the CD release of her original score for the film THE SKIN I'M IN. Her performance will include a live remix of this score, originally recorded with orchestra and reconfigured for two live computer setups and a string quartet.
Come by for a drink and enjoy some tunes and fresh musical perspectives!
This evening funded in part by the Sundance Institute/Time Warner Fellowship.
As you use our Online Archives, please understand that the information presented from Festivals, Labs, and other activities is taken directly from official publications from each year. While this information is limited and doesn't necessarily represent the full list of participants (e.g. actors and crew), it is the list given to us by the main film/play/project contact at the time, based on the space restrictions of our publications. Each entry in the Online Archives is meant as a historical record of a particular film, play, or project at the time of its involvement with Sundance Institute. For this reason, we can only amend an entry if a name is misspelled, or if the entry does not correctly reflect the original publication.
