Sex and Cinema: Women – Objects or Actors

Following the premiers of Ken Russell’s Whore, journalist and film critic Harlan Jacobson will moderate a discussion which will explore the ideology and eroticism of the sexual depiction of women in films. Special guests, director Ken Russell and actress Theresa Russell, will be joined by other in a roundtable discussion which will analyze the controversy surrounding the ratings system, censorship, and sexuality and sexism in today’s films, among other issues
