Video Television, Cable and the Independent Filmmaker

This discussion will present a range of panelists, including Bob Thompson, senior vice-president of communications for TCI, the largest cable holding company in the United States; Barry Rebo of Rebo Communications, one of the principal production entities in the country developing High Definition television programs and technology; and Lindsay Law, executive director of “American Playhouse.” The foremost producers of independent films for broadcast. Additional panelists will be announced. Avenues of discussion will include the exploration of new technologies, new sources of financing and new directions in programming, with an emphasis on the opportunities they offer and their impact on independent filmmaker.
