Description
A maverick veterinarian and his dedicated team of doctors create a mecca for pets and their owners looking for hope and a last chance to heal. Ridiculed for many years for his ‘holistic’ approach to healing animals, Marty Goldstein stayed the course and now he and his remarkable team successfully combine conventional medical training with cutting-edge alternative therapies for a huge roster of furry patients. The film closely follows several pets and their doctors in their unusual journeys to better health. Directed by Cindy Meehl, whose first film Buck won the Sundance Film Festival’s Audience Award in 2011, the film poses a serious question about whether we are over medicating our pets…our children…ourselves. More importantly, it offers a valid alternative to blindly continuing to do so. (Director: Cindy Meehl)
