Description
Against the backdrop of Watergate, Promised Land tells the story of the ill-fated meeting of two high school graduates; one seeking a way out of the desolation of his Idaho small town policeman's life , the other returning home to the same town after a three year prison term. A series of heroic events culminates in death for one and escape for the other, while portraying the moral confusion of the changing political times.
